About AI Graduate

The most comprehensive independent guide to AI, ML, and data science graduate programs in the United States β€” built by practitioners who have worked at the frontier of artificial intelligence and education.

Who We Are

AI Graduate was founded by a team with deep roots in technology, education, and the AI industry. Our founders and editorial advisors bring backgrounds spanning work at Fortune 500 technology companies, advisory engagements with top-ranked universities around the world, and direct involvement in the global AI conversation β€” having lectured, spoken, and participated in events alongside leading AI entrepreneurs, investors, and researchers including noted venture capitalists and education innovators like Tim Draper and other shapers of the AI and technology investment landscape.

This isn't an academic exercise. The people behind AI Graduate have been in the rooms where AI strategy gets made β€” and they built this platform because they saw firsthand how difficult it is for aspiring students to get honest, independent guidance about AI graduate programs without being pushed toward whoever pays for a placement.

Our Mission

Finding the right AI graduate program is genuinely hard. With over 1,900 programs across master's, bachelor's, PhD, certificate, and MBA tracks, students spend dozens of hours piecing together information from scattered university websites, outdated ranking lists, and promotional material dressed up as editorial content.

AI Graduate exists to change that. We are a single destination with comprehensive program data, independent rankings, interactive decision tools, and real admissions guidance β€” covering every AI, ML, data science, and related graduate program in the United States. We do not accept payment for rankings placement or editorial coverage. Period.

Editorial Independence

AI Graduate operates on a strict editorial independence policy. Programs are evaluated entirely on merit: academic quality, career outcomes, faculty research productivity, and institutional resources. Our Capstone 10 recognition β€” awarded to fewer than 2% of evaluated programs β€” is based entirely on our published evaluation criteria, not on advertising relationships or submission fees.

Where affiliate or lead-generation relationships exist, they are fully disclosed and completely separate from editorial coverage. A program cannot improve its ranking by advertising with us.

Our Approach to Data

Program data is sourced directly from university websites, the IPEDS national database, LinkedIn salary reports, and graduate employment surveys. Every data point is verified against at least two independent sources before publication. We update program data annually and maintain a 48-hour correction policy for any errors flagged by readers or institutions.

Salary benchmarks are aggregated from multiple sources including self-reported compensation databases, BLS Occupational Employment Statistics, and employer surveys. We publish confidence intervals and source methodology for all salary claims.

Advisory Background

AI Graduate's founding team and editorial advisors have collectively held roles at and advised some of the world's leading technology organizations and academic institutions. They have been invited to lecture at and participate in events at institutions ranked among the top 20 universities globally, and have shared stages and conversations with prominent figures across AI research, venture capital, and technology entrepreneurship.

This background informs everything we do β€” from how we evaluate the research productivity of a faculty department to how we assess the career outcomes data a university publishes. We know what makes a program genuinely exceptional versus what sounds impressive in a brochure.

Contact & Corrections

We welcome program data corrections, methodology questions, and partnership inquiries. If you are a university and believe our data contains an error, please contact our editorial team and we will review within 48 hours.
