About This Program
Eastern Michigan University offers a Combined Coordinated Program in Dietetics (BS+MS) that prepares students to become registered dietitians through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The combined program includes online learning with 1040+ hours of supervised practice experience in clinical, community, and food service settings. Students have flexibility in securing internship sites or having EMU coordinate sites. Online format available only for U.S. residents. The program features accomplished faculty with years of online teaching experience. ACEND-accredited.
Career Outcomes
Combined BS+MS graduates are eligible to take the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) examination to become registered dietitian nutritionists, positioning them for leadership roles in clinical dietetics, food service management, community nutrition, research, education, and healthcare organizations.
